Handsomely designed and built to last, this cushioned ottoman table offers a modular style that can be used on its own or in concert with other pieces from the Strathwood Balboa outdoor furniture collection. It’s made of kapur wood, a dense and highly durable hardwood from Southeast Asia (primarily Indonesia and Malaysia). The kapur has a fine-sanded, oil-stained finish in a warm, mahogany brown tone. Rivaling teak for strength and resistance to weather and insects, it’s ideal for outdoor use. Left untreated, kapur will weather to a soft, warm shade of gray similar to that of weathered teak.
The ottoman features blocky, square chair footings and a wide, slatted construction. At 13 inches high, it’s just the right height for using as a side table. Add the cushion, and it adds extra length to the collection’s corner or center chairs for stretching out your legs. The ottoman measures 27-1/2 inches square. We have had these cubes for about 3 months so far and we use them in one form or another almost every day. The kids use the big cubes with the trays for lunch or dinner and the small cubes are always getting moved from room to room. The small ones are light enough the kids can move them on their own. Perfect for board games and the extra storage is always useful They are really worth the money.
