It’s made of kapur wood, a dense and highly durable hardwood from Southeast Asia (primarily Indonesia and Malaysia). The kapur has a fine-sanded, oil-stained finish in a warm, mahogany brown tone. Rivaling teak for strength and resistance to weather and insects, it’s ideal for outdoor use. Left untreated, kapur will weather to a soft, warm shade of gray similar to that of weathered teak.
The ottoman features blocky, square chair footings and a wide, slatted construction. At 13 inches high, it’s just the right height for using as a side table. Add the cushion, and it adds extra length to the collection’s corner or center chairs for stretching out your legs. The ottoman measures 27-1/2 inches square. This set looks much better in person. The cushion are reversible and hook on to the frame, so they don’t blow away. The fabric is much better than I thought for the price. It can very quick and all in one box. I wish it had pillows but other than that you can’t beat the price.

I love this set. You can make so many arrangements with it. The coffee table comes with a cushion so you can make the sofa into a chaise. For years I’ve had one of those metal one-step stools, which was OK for hanging small pictures and other simple things, but I had always wanted to buy a three-stepper with a rail to hang onto for safety.
By the time I got around to purchasing this practical item, I found that the three-stepper gave me vertigo, simply by looking at it. I shopped around Amazon and found a wooden two-step model but it looked too bulky, so I kept at it until I found this one.
I love it; it’s perfect for me. Now I can not only hang larger pictures, I can also dust the tops of door-frames and handle other simple jobs with ease and safety.

I bought this piece for myself for my birthday, as well as the matching end table and coffee table (coffee table only available in Target stores). The quality of craftsmanship is great for the price, and these look really great in the living room. The wood has a really pretty dark finish that looks good with a variety of decorating schemes as well as mixed with other shades of wood.
Assembly was easy, and took about fifteen minutes (including reading the directions). I have assembled other tables that took me about two hours to figure out, but this one was quite a snap…
I like this piece because it is good quality for a great price. You’ll have this one in your house for years!
