What is the difference between Duncan Pfife and Duncan Phyfe antique furniture?

20-Apr-10

What is the difference between Duncan Pfife and Duncan Phyfe antique furniture? Is one worth more than the other? I’m looking a drop leaf table in great condition, but I know nothing about antiques. The tag says Duncan Pfife, but on ebay I only see Duncan Phyfe. Is there a difference? Thanks in advance.

How do you clean fingerprints off wood furniture?

08-Apr-10

I have a new piece of furniture with a matte finish, that quickly developed some fingerprint marks. I used the wrong product on it, and it only polished the fingerprint marks, while the rest of the wood kept it’s matte finish. I’ve tried Murphy’s Oil Soap and even it won’t clean the shiny spots. Any other suggestions?
