I am ordering our second bookshelf now! Great system that my two two-year olds actually use – no more books all over the floor. Better quality than I expected, although I don’t think it will withstand one (or both) of them climbing up it. Holds a decent amount of books so I am ordering a second one for the bedroom. Only drawback, it does not work for small books since the books can not be seen. However, I’m just so thrilled that the piles and piles of big books are no longer on the floor since the conventional bookcase was just an invitation to pull everything off. Also, Little Wonders is a terrific vendor — quick shipping and the product arrived in great shape.

My 16 month old son loves books, and this sling shelf is the perfect height. It is best for the larger books, as the small ones don’t stick out above the canvas. He does, however, look for the books down in the pockets and pulls them out for me to read to him. It was easy to assemble. It came with a little tool, so I didn’t have to dig out a screwdriver. It is also attractive. Everyone that comes into our home comments on what a nice book holder it is for him. It holds about 30 board books if they books are stacked against each other. This is okay with me, as I rotate the books in the shelf. If you expect to display all of the books you have at one time, this probably isn’t the holder for you…or you will just need to buy more than one.

Dad’s review – I think it works great, nicely built and if you need more room, you probably have too many books anyway (most kids have a core group of favorites that are read night, after night, after night). But then again I hate clutter and this holds enough good books for my son!

Mom’s review – This is a nice bookshelf, both in looks and function. It’s sturdy and goes well with any decor. I wouldn’t mind if it was a bit bigger, but if I need more space we can always get another one!
